BEN CARR (Solo Singer & slide guitarist)

Ben Carr is a blues influenced singer, songwriter and guitarist. Being a powerful, yet sensitive singer, he is able him to cover a variety of different styles. Guaranteed to take you on a trip into different musical worlds, with original material influenced by men who sold their souls to the Devil. Ben's music covers everything from National steel slide guitar to rockin' boogie music.

THE HOT RATS

The Hot Rats are a crazy little band from Kingsbridge, Devon with a taste for electric blues and roots music. They deliver their own fresh hard hitting sounds with big funky grooves and infectious walking bass lines, punctuated by Ben's soulful vocals and electrifying guitar leads. No matter where you come from, no matter what the weather The Hot Rats will get you up and dancing and going crazy to their infectious music.

This young and funky band perform their own original material alongside classic blues and roots music from Delta to Chicago. The songs are propelled by their relentless energy, which creates an ideal platform for the Hot Rats blues, boogie, punk and psychedelic influences.

The band is made up of three brothers; singer/songwriter/guitarist Ben Carr, funky walking bass player Tom Carr and drummer and percussionist Jimbo Carr. Besides being a very powerful 3 piece the guys are often joined by guest musicians on sax, trumpet, harmonica or guitar.
